Rocker Switch DPDT – 6A

The switch is a Dual Pole Dual Throw – DPDT Rocker Switch. The switch has current rating of 6A @ 250V AC/DC. Also it is a 2 way switch, and not a conventional 3 way DPDT Switch. Both common pins are connected to one side of the their respective pins, and on toggling the switch, the common pins are connected to pins on the other side.

As visible in the diagram, the outputs of the DPDT Rocker switch can be taken from pins 3 and 4, whereas pins 1,2 are for different inputs, and same way, pins 5,6 are for different inputs. At a time, pins 3,4 are short to pins 1,2 or pins 5,6 respectively.
