Why is Bluedart VCHC Charge Applied ?
The Bluedart Courier applies VCHC Charges when the Value of Shipment Per 500gm is more than ₹15,000/-
They basically consider the order as High Value Order, and take extra charges as ₹ 500 or 0.5% of the order value, whichever is higher, apart from regular courier charges. Taxes are extra on above mentioned charges.
If you do not wish to pay excess VCHC Charges, you can follow below points.
How to Remove VCHC Charges
- Add Products to the order which are heavy, there by increasing the overall weight of the order, and reducing the per 500gm value of the order below ₹15,000/-, which will remove the VCHC Charges from the order
- Select Other Courier Options. We have Tirupati Courier and Economy Shipping (Delhivery Courier) as alternatives to the Bluedart Courier, but they won’t be able to provide delivery as fast as Bluedart.
Bluedart provides pretty fast deliveries all over India, but they do take excess charges for High Value Shipments. If the VCHC Charges are applied in your order, and you want the order very urgently delivered, than you should focus on Point 1 – And Increase the weight of the order, so that the Order Value per 500gm gets below ₹15,000/-
